Masterson’s Pub , located in the heart of Moonee Ponds , markets itself as a trendy “hipster” hangout , but my recent visit at this establishment resulted in an experience I’d rather forget . While the bar may appear inviting from the outside , what I experienced behind its walls was disgraceful and unfit for any venue.
The State of the Venue : Filthy and Disregarded
From the moment I stepped inside , it was clear that hygiene was not a priority at Masterson’s . The floors were sticky , and a foul smell of decaying beverages and dirty bathrooms suffused the entire venue . Smelling a mixture of urine , putrefaction and illness .
